About the Mod

Synergy is the Half-Life 2 cooperative modification that enables you to play with others through Half-Life 2 and it's episodes (Episode 1 and 2), as well as our own levels.

You may also install other third-party mods, such as MINERVA: Metastasis and ROCK 24, to also play them cooperatively with other players.

Synergy tries to maintain the true Half-Life 2 gameplay, while still adding in our own unique ideas.

FAQ

What is this?: Synergy is a cooperative modification for Half-Life 2.
What do I need to play?: You will need the Steam client software, along with a game that contains Source SDK Base on the same Steam Account. Make sure you've launched Half-Life 2 least once to initialize the game, before you play Synergy. Some servers and maps require Episode 1, Episode 2 or any other custom mod mounted. To play those maps you need to have the required game and have it mounted in Synergy.
How do I install this mod?: You can install Synergy directly through steam, do do so Click here (Requires steam installed an running).

How long has Synergy been around?: Synergy has been around since early 2005. The first release was in September of 2005. Before Synergy, there were 2 mods: Dev Coop and DC Cooperative 2. The latter has been around since 2003.
