gmc.jimmy  : (08 May 2013 - 08:05 PM) The guests browsing are probably spambots or search engines.

Look at your Steam folder example C:\Program Files\Steam\ delete "config" folder

It helped me, it is good if you exit Steam after you remove it and then start Steam again.

O.o that doesn't sound good... ill just rename the folder
EDIT: Ok, I'm NEVER doing that AGAIN. It almost fucked up my steam...
EDIT2: Ok, fixed mah problem by deleting my cache.

I had the same problem, but I just found a workaround. On your Library tab in Steam, click next to the Search box and choose to sort by Tools. Then look through the list for "Synergy dedicated server" and choose "Install game." This will add Synergy to your Library. Click Play and it will begin downloading Synergy. Unfortunately if you go back to Tools to delete local content for "Synergy dedicated server" it seems to delete Synergy as well.

    Hope this helps.

Way easier solution: just use this steam://install/17520

    How?
EDIT: Nvm, i think I know how...
    EDIT2: It worked! Thanks man!

Might be obvious, but have you installed half life 2 and played it atleast once? Also, restart your computer, might also be obvious but hey it happens. If your still in trouble delete your blob, that usually solves most problems involving steam.

    Blob location:
    64 bit

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

    32 bit
    C:\Program Files\Steam

Scroll down and look for ClientRegistry.BLOB, then just delete it.

I did play it once to get the files running. I'll try the blob then reboot. Thx!
EDIT: Didn't fucking work. Rebooted, deleted the BLOB twice. D: Sadface
