Mounts Needed : Hl2 Ep1 Ep2

Description : Here is a little map i have done for fun , it wont be official for synergy due to the fact it's no really a beauty map at all but the point is it's FUN especially with many players .
Action take place in desert ,between mountains and the goal of the map is pretty simple :
You have 10 levels to succeed (displayed on screens) .
I wont say too much about it and let you all discover on your own .

Feedback?

First off the patch seemed to break it. After we got to the fort nothing happened, and trying to use any of the guns that need ammo resulted in the message "level 10" flashing up on the screen.

After rolling back to the previous .edt, things seemed to work properly. It isn't the prettiest map in the world, but not bad. Certainly quite intereesting. We did have the problem witht he rocket launcher geting stuck at the end and had to cheat to get an RPG. Also, attempting to shoot in the direction of the shack witht he magnusson always blew up the gunner.

Most of the time was fun - posion antlions got rather dull, especially when we realised the best way was to run them over for about 20 minutes. The striders didn't seem to fight very very well. Still, one of the best pure defense maps I have played.

Oh, one other thing - for most of the guns, however by far the worst for the airport gun, the gun brush takes up almost all your view. You generally have no idea what you are shooting at, if anything because of the huge black object in your way. Could definatley be improved. Perhaps some combine-shield effects for the edges of the player area as well, as at the moment it isn't at all clear where the edges are and you crash into it quite a bit.

But a few bugs:

Wall chargers run empty and stay empty, refill ?
Combine are stuck in the drop ships
Timer for the gas maybe dynamic ? 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, ..... u get the point smile.gif
not every level has gas ?

Bugs:

Still need to refill the chargers on the walls or replace them with med kits
Gas is random ? cuz its not after every level ?

Tips:
make time shorter between "Cleared" and "Go to panic room ,gas is comming ?
everyone is already waiting at the doors after "cleared"

not a bug .
Just depend of the server ,or the map edt , i didnt input a command to let server admin choose.

sk_health_charger_time specifies the time in seconds it takes for the Health charger to recharge itself after depleted. The same for sk_suit_charger_time which controls the battery chargers.

Good times. We wanted to fill the room even more, there was even a guy at the other mag teleporter filling up the truck with them, but the server started showing severe signs of disapproval and soon died.

The same can be done on the EP2 map, ep2_outland_12, can't it? If not, then I suggest looking into how Valve did it.
