Need help setting up a HL2 Synergy server!

Umm.. hi guys i have troubles of getting a synergy server working. I have watched a lot of videos of how but no luck. So i am asking u guys if u can help me setup a synergy server or tell me how to setup because my friends and i want to play HL2 co-op so eagerly.

I watched this Synergy server setup i did everything it told me but it was very confusing.
So plzzz help me!!!!!!

Check out our documentation.

If you just want to play with your friend(s) you can host it yourself in the 'Create a Server' option in the main menu, however you must forward your port, which the docs explain how to do.

umm my friend has tried forwarding the port.. but when i try to join it said its not responding so any help???
