I think that the mod would benefit greatly from the addition of half life source, much like they've done with obsidian conflict. Although it might be harder than the other games to implement, it would definitley make the mod more popular and fun

The game has alot of counter part weapons to half life 2, so they dont even really need the new weapons if it was too much trouble.
Crowbar = Crowbar
Glock 17 = Pistol
Shutgun = Shotgun
Grenade = Grenade
Mp5 = Smg1
Crossbow = Crossbow
Rocket Launcher = Rocket Launcher
Trip wire = Slam
.357 = .357
And so on, same with npc's, after that they only need to port a few things and then me personally would love it

The only problem is that Half Life Source, actually, Half Life 1 maps in general are short, and sometimes none too sweet. Little bit of action, and a medium bit of loading, this excludes bosses and puzzles of course. Though with some mapping skills one could merge Half Life's maps together to make a much larger area for a more reasonable loading time.
To create a character, is to make a person.
To write a story, is to write their fate.
To keep it simple, I like typing stories, but not just any story you throw at me, I perfere Sci-Fi or 50s Style, drama or adventure.
Who knows, maybe I'll be typing up a game's story, or a movie story, one shouldn't get there hopes up, or they may only suffer from them being crushed to the ground.
