Hi!
I have a really general question. I am sitting in front of two computers. Both have different Steam accounts and for both I've bought Half-Life 2. I am able to start a LAN multiplayer Deathmatch game. No problems at all. Works fine!
But now I wanted to play HL2 with two persons using Synergy but I did not work. I've opened the Port 27015 in my router and told both firewalls not to block this port.
Now I tried to start a new multiplayer game (LAN) but the other computer which should join the new game can't find the other computer in the LAN section. Both can set up a server in LAN but I did not see him in the server list.
Both are using Win 7. One 32bit, the other 64bit.
Hope someone can give me a hint so solve the problem.
Regards
Marc

I've found the problem. I just have to cancel the checkbox in the LAN server list "show map list" and after that I found my network game. It's great!
