Since the last update ( the one that fixed it for all the issue with the avatar icons) something very weird have been happening while playing the game.
I play in a listen server created by a friend of mine, with a password, so that's only two of us.
Somehow, randomly, we tend to catch fire until death, and sometimes an active rpg_missle spawn randomly on us. and sometimes we just plain die, like we got sethealth -1.
I'm sure that i dont have any binds for that on my keyboard as well my friend, who got paranoic and disabled all binds.
I'm also sure that he's not doing that on console in intention to mock me, specially because he's getting killed more usual than me.
At first, we thought the mod was kind of "punishing" us because we were playing with sv_cheats on. then we turned it off.
Results? We still get killed, burned to death and exploded.
Is anyone also having this problem? Is that a glitch? Is that something proposital hard-coded into the mod? It's weird, we never seen this happen on the previous update. So, i'll be glad if anyone can tell me anything about this... :S

No, this is not part of the mod. If your sure he is not just messing with you (because there are console commands that can do this), then he may have some plugins running that do weird things. Custom maps can do this too, like some of the puzzle ones. If all else fails then next time you can host the server and it shouldn't happen.

Yeah, i thought as well too... just a simple "give rpg_missle" (or something like that) can cause the explosion, as well ent_fire (entity here) ignite... But i'm 100% sure it's none of us (he doesn't have a troll nature), neither we have binds for that, we double checked, even straight on the cfg file.
Plus, as i said, it kept happening even with sv_cheats off.
No plugin installed either and no custom maps. We were just playing the common hl2 ep2 campaign. (although we saw this happen rarely on ep1 too)
I can't host because my connection is a little too slow for that. Though i might do it once for testing.
Anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks for the help, guys.

There is a bug in Synergy that's there since forever. If you use sm_burn on anyone, the fire spreads to another player, then to another, until everyone is dead.
So don't use any command involving fire.
You can set admin_override.cfg to flag sm_burn as z, so one of your admins don't accidentally use it.
