Hi guy's

Okay so here's the situation:
We have 2 computers behind a router
When playing synergy I can get on any server without problem.
My brother behind the 2nd computer can't.
Even when I'm not playing and I'm offline he gets the Invalid steam userid ticket.
this happens on every server he tries to connect to.
We aren't trying to connect to a local server.
We only have this problem on synergy.
TF2,L4D2,... all work without problems.
We have gone over the troubleshooting list:

We have reinstalled synergy on both computers
Nothing seems to work and we don't appear to be the only one having this problem.
The weird thing is that we have already been able to play together.
But now (about 6 months later) that we wanted to start playing synergy again, he can't.
I've posted this message on the steam forum, the steam support itself and got 0 replies on both.
I'm starting to think that the problem is synergy related and not steam/valve related.
You guys are sort off our last hope.

Just logged of from steam and relogged in.

Then why couldn't I find this on steamforums,steam support and this forum?

Its the known solution for this problem, its usually the first thing mentioned on SPUF.

Just glad the problem's solved.
By the way.
I'm having a volume drop of my teamspeak everytime I start up synergy.
Any solution for that?

Yeah, Win 7 (And maybe Vista) automatically quietens everything when it thinks you're making a call. For some reason it picks up Source games as making calls. The only solution is to disable the feature.

Worked perfectly.
Strange that he sees synergy as a call but not teamspeak...
Wich is basicly calling multiple people.

i've been having the same problem(still am): , but it wont let me sign out cause it keeps saying that synergy is still open. which means i cant delte local conten, exit steam, or do a verification scan, unless i restart my computer. so who can help with this problem?

Go to your task manager and make sure that HL2.exe isn't running.
