So, I textured a weapon for the first time in about three years.

I'm pretty proud of myself.

Looks more and more like crap when I look at it, though. I've got a bunch of nitpicks with it.

I didn't UV map the gun, and it really depresses me that the UV seams are so damn visible. I can't really fix it, though, since the project leader demands results.

Made another today, made the model, UV mapped, and textured all today.

I really don't feel like making a heightmap right now.

You're really getting better! Although you could work a little more on the metal texture on that rifle- right now it looks more like plastic.

Here's a good example on a metal texture:
