This game is just... wow.

It's a firstperson shooter that is 95kb, yes a screenshot of it is actually bigger than the game itself.
Basically it uses the texture generator developed by fiver2. The results (Especially for the file size) are amazing.

EVERY light is dynamic, you open a door into any room watch as the light floods into the room and creates pre-rendered quality shadows (Although the game has no AA so they are jaggy) over everything. Even the light from the bullets is dynamic, albeit only the last bullet fired will cast a shadow (With weapons like the machine gun this is understandable).
Unfortunately, it's a fullscreen game so I can't take a screenshot (Printscreen copies the desktop instead) of it.
But here's an image from their site:

If you'd like to try the game, download here.
Here's a mirror on my site, just in-case their site breaks at some point.

Yeah, a few years old this (Wiki says 5 years - released in 2004), but an impressive piece of procedural generation (basically, all the textures and a lot of the level architecture is generated at run time rather than having been created and saved). This was intended to be a demo with a "full" game to follow but it never materialised.

Well geez VOSK, I was going to delete CMaster's first post and ultradude's comment, but since you commented on that I'd have to delete your post and I don't think I can do that. Now I'm making it worse by posting this :3

They released an editor-like application back then that would let you make your own demos. I think it was called werkkzeug. You should be able to find it on the same site with kkrieger.

There's another game that makes use of procedural texture generation and I think it's pretty fun. But you have to be really in to flight sims to enjoy it. It's an indy game series called StarWraith. This developer fits the whole game in under 50megs.

I've been using .werkkzeug 3 Texture Edition for texture, normal map, and mask creation. Since it's procedural, you can modify earlier operations that carry on down to later operations, which saves having to undo and redo repeatedly like in conventional image editing software.
