My Friends Cannot Connect To My Server

so thats the prob i cant connect ot my friends server's and they cannot connect to my,when wee try to connect each other it says "server is not responding"

when i try to connect to them and when they try to connect to my.

please can some 1 tell me what to do so they can connect to my server ???

Search the forums for similar issues. Perhaps others have already had a discusion about that very same problem and worked out some solutions.

Are you trying to connect through the Steam Friends system?
If so, ask your friend to give you his (or, you give your friend your) WAN IP address - obtained either from your router's web UI or from a website such as http://whatismyip.com

Then either your friend or you, launch Synergy and open the Console in the main menu (using the '~' tilde key) and type in the following:

CODE
connect XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXX

Replacing the 'X's with the actual IP address and replace ":XXXX" for actual port number.

i did that and it still dosn't work ;( my friend tryed to wee tryed and it didn't workd..
