1. Restore health back to 100 upon respawn, plus 15 - 25 suit charge

Why: because it's very easy to die with 60 hp, plus the reduced capacity of the servers means that theres not that many people in a server to cover mission specific npc's underfire leading into an instant failure and server crash because of the bugged checkpoints, plus its frustrating as hell and should have never been done in the first place.


2. More than 1 ammo clip per gun upon respawn
Why: we have more or less no ammo upon respawn and this does not promote supporting your team mates it just makes the game all the more frustrating mixed with the problem below, we should atleast get full ammo for the pistol and the mp7 just to survive, granted you should never have any rpg ammo upon respawn for obivious reasons


3. Re-rig up Auto weapon switching up upon running out of ammo

Why: plus this mixed in with the above problem makes the game a hell of a lot more frustrating than it should have been because as soon as you run out of ammo it stays on that weapon forcing you to manually look for one of your weapons that actually has ammo in the middle of a firefight leading to either loosing most of your health or dying in the process also making the game needlessly frustrating at the same time


4. Disable checkpoints all together
Why: checkpoints cause most of the server crashes making you disconnect from the server your playing on alot

and theres no need for them as a mass suicide is all thats needed to restart the level when it glitches so this is just a needlessly complicated solution to this that makes the game even more unstabled and for that it should be removed.


5. Increase server capacity from 10 to 20
Why: It's just more fun to play with more than 10 people and while 30 is uruley 15 - 20 would be the perfect ammount and would allow all of your friends to play on yoru server at the same time rather than having 4 or 5 waiting to get in like it is now or was before v14.


6. Make a proper healer
Why: because healing 5 hp at a time takes alot of time, just about a minute or so to even get fully healed and slows everything down, the best kind of healer I've seen in is in oc where you can drop your med pacs for a quick 25, or heal someone completely in about 20 - 30 seconds


7. Fix the disapearing weapons problem
Decription: the 357, shotgun, crossbow, rpg and even the gravity gun all disapear from your inventory at intermediate periods throught the HL2 campaign and trust me this is annoying and it needs to be fixed.


and just a side note the OC development team has said they dont give a shit about the hl2 - ep2 campaigns as is its and they are focusing primarily on custom ones so if you fix eveything on this list and make it known that these problems have been delt with synergy will surely get back on its feet and back to its pre v11 standing

That is the fault of the map. You can spawn people with as much ammo as you want. Add it to the EDT file for that map.

Again, the weapon just needs to be added to the EDT file. They don't 'disappear'.

uh most people just pick a server to play on and there all like that so it falls on your head to fix it guys, not mine nor the server owners.

its obviously a widespread problem that needs to be fixed by you guys the developers since the mod came like that.

and they DO downright disapear between maps, I had the gravity gun disapear on me in c17's sniper alley (where you save barney from the snipers) just yesterday, out of nowhere, same with the rest of all those weapons.

hell if you want proof ill have a friend videotape this glitch in action and post it here.

If weapons vanish from people's hands, then that's a bug that needs reporting. I isn't an intended feature, that' for sure. Bug report forums are near the top of the forum list, although some more info about the times it occurs would probably help a lot with fixing it.

I'm pretty sure his "vanishing" weapons are just the default weapons for the map, and he's not keeping his weapons from last map (Which happens to me if I take too long to load). So someone just needs to go through the EDT files and fix up default weapons.

Yes, you should spawn with at least one spare clip and the one in your gun, that is how the mod should be. If it isn't, then it's the server owners responsibility to fix it until it's fixed in Synergy. If you want more ammo then that's also the server owners responsibility, until the Syn Team decide they want to add more ammo (If they ever do).

Yeah I know I'm too little to late on all of this and the mods dead right now (only 5 servers with people on them are up right now with an average of 4 people in them)

but still the best thing they could do to bring synergy back is to revert back to an old copy of V10 and then go from there and make stuff like the checkpoints and the 60 hp thing optional


and theres one more thing I forgot to add

in order to make the gunship and strider battles as long and as intense as they were in SP everyones rocket ammo needs to be removed from there inventory at the start of:

d2_coast_03
d2_coast_04
d2_coast_10
d2_prison_01
d3_c17_11
d3_c17_12
d3_c17_12b
d3_c17_13

Ep1:
ep1_c17_06

and again from there inventory if they respawn so everyone has to get to the rocket crates for more ammo instead of just slaughering them where they stand like it is now
